Safety

To allow off-road and deep snow capability, Four-Wheel Drive is standard on the Wagoneer S. But it costs extra on the GV60.

Both the Wagoneer S and the GV60 have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front and rear side-impact airbags, driver knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front and rear seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, rearview cameras, rear cross-path warning and driver alert monitors.

Warranty

There are almost 10 times as many Jeep dealers as there are Genesis dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Wagoneer S’ warranty.

Reliability

J.D. Power and Associates’ 2024 survey of the owners of three-year-old vehicles provides the long-term dependability statistics that show that Jeep vehicles are more reliable than Genesis With 10 fewer problems per 100 vehicles in the first three years of ownership, J.D. Power ranks Jeep higher than Genesis.

Front Rotors

13.9 inches

13.6 inches

Rear Rotors

12.8 inches

The Wagoneer S’ standard front and rear disc brakes are vented to help dissipate heat for shorter stops with less fading. The rear discs standard on the GV60 are solid, not vented.

Tires and Wheels

The Wagoneer S’ tires provide better handling because they have a lower 50 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the GV60 Standard’s standard 55 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Wagoneer S has standard 20-inch wheels. Smaller 19-inch wheels are standard on the GV60 Standard.

The Wagoneer S has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The GV60 doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

Passenger Space

The Wagoneer S has .4 inches more rear legroom and 1.7 inches more rear shoulder room than the GV60.

Cargo Capacity

The Wagoneer S 4dr Sport Utility has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat up than the GV60 with its rear seat up (30.6 vs. 24 cubic feet). The Wagoneer S 4dr Sport Utility has a much larger cargo volume with its rear seat folded than the GV60 with its rear seat folded (61 vs. 54.7 cubic feet).

Towing

The Wagoneer S’ standard towing capacity is much higher than the GV60’s (3500 vs. 2000 pounds).

Ergonomics

Unlike the driver-only memory system in the GV60, the Wagoneer S has standard driver and passenger memory, so that when drivers switch, the memory setting adjusts the driver’s seat, steering wheel position (with optional power wheel adjuster), outside mirror angle and radio stations and the front passenger seat also adjusts to the new passenger’s preset preferences.

The Wagoneer S’ standard Keyless Enter-N-Go allow you to unlock the doors from any outside door handle, open the cargo door, and start the vehicle, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. Proximity Key standard on the GV60 doesn’t offer a sensor on the rear doors, so you’ll have to reach a front handle to unlock the rear door.

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Wagoneer S to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The GV60 doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the Wagoneer S has a standard rear wiper. The GV60 doesn’t offer a rear wiper.

To help drivers avoid possible obstacles, the Wagoneer S has standard cornering lights to illuminate around corners when the turn signals are activated. The GV60 doesn’t offer cornering lights.

Optional air conditioned front and rear seats keep the Wagoneer S’ passengers comfortable and take the sting out of hot leather in summer. The GV60 doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats in the rear.

The Wagoneer S has a standard heated steering wheel to take the chill out of steering on extremely cold winter days before the vehicle heater warms up. A heated steering wheel is only available on the GV60 Advanced/Performance.

Recommendations

The Jeep Wagoneer outsold the Genesis GV60 by almost 18 to one during 2024.
